macadamia nut protein bars

Ingredients: 

150g Macadamia Nuts 

50g Dates 

80g Hemp Hearts 

140g Whey Protein 

260g Dark Chocolate

 

Directions:

  1. Add Macadamia nuts and pitted dates into a food processor and process for 1 minute. 
  2. Add hemp hearts and whey protein to the mixture in the food processor. Process until the contents clump together and are evenly mixed. 
  3. Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler. 
  4. Using a 4.5-inch silicone granola bar mold, coat the bottom and sides with melted chocolate and place it in the freezer to harden. 
  5. Remove the mold from the freezer and press in the macadamia nut mixture, topping it off with the remaining melted chocolate. 
  6. Put the mold back into the freezer for a couple of minutes to set. 
  7. Remove the protein bars from the freezer and carefully take them out of the mold. 
  8. Place the protein bars in an airtight container. 
  9. Enjoy your homemade Macadamia Nut Protein Bars!
