pistachio protein bars

 

Ingredients:

  • 150g Pistachios
  • 60g Hemp Hearts
  • 2 Scoops Whey Protein
  • 2 tbsp Mocha
  • 3 tbsp Sugar-free Maple Syrup
  • 260g Dark Molding Chocolate

Directions:

  1. Melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler.
  2. In a food processor, chop pistachios and then add hemp hearts and mocha powder. Blend for a minute.
  3. Add whey protein and blend for another minute.
  4. Incorporate sugar-free maple syrup and blend for an additional minute. Scrape the sides of the processor.
  5. Continue blending and scraping sides at 1-minute intervals until the mixture becomes clumpy.
  6. Coat the bottom and sides of 4.5-inch granola bar molds with a thin layer of melted chocolate. Place in the freezer to harden.
  7. Scoop the pistachio mixture into the molds and top with the remaining melted chocolate.
  8. Place the molds back in the freezer to allow the bars to set.
  9. Once set, remove from the freezer and enjoy your homemade pistachio protein bars.
